Philips Dressed up Guangzhou ‘Slender Waist’ TV Tower

As the 16th Asian Games is hosting in Guangzhou, the world’s highest stand-alone TV tower, the Canton Tower becomes an important focal point.

Philips was contracted with the Guangzhou city government to provide the lighting for the 600 meter-high tower - known locally as ‘the Slender Waist’ TV tower.

Lin Liangqi, General Manager of Philips Lighting Greater China said that “Philips is proud to be providing a pleasant and unforgettable lighting experience to residents of Guangzhou as well as visitors to the city.
