LPS and Expo 2016 Calls for Papers

The LED professional Symposium +Expo (LpS) is the leading annual international conference that addresses solid-state lighting technologies and its applications. In 2016 it will take place from September 20th to 22nd in Bregenz, Austria. Experts from the fields of industry and academia are invited to submit an abstract to present their latest developments and expectations for future lighting trends and innovations to a highly qualified audience. The deadline for submissions is February 19th, 2016.

Benefits

Presenters can portray their latest views, exchange experiences with other international specialists and expand their knowledge on current and future lighting trends. Furthermore, the papers will be published in the LpS 2016 proceedings booklets.

Submission

Submitted lectures must be original material and should cover one of the following topics: lighting innovations; intelligent & connected lighting; smart technologies; engineering & design; lifetime & security; costs & manufacturing; best practice approaches & applications. The wide range of subjects can cover areas like luminaries & lamps; smart controls; light sources; optics; manufacturing & equipment. Scientific Award

The LED professional Scientific Award honors the best scientific paper from universities, research organizations or institutes with a financial contribution of 3,000 euros. Event Information

For the sixth year in a row, LED professional Symposium +Expo will turn the Festspielhaus Bregenz into a networking platform for more than 1,500 international decision makers in the areas of general, industrial and architectural lighting from September 20th to 22nd. First-rate lectures, interactive workshops and panel discussions will go hand in hand with an exhibition featuring over 100 top international solid-state lighting manufacturing, service and equipment companies. The city of Bregenz is located on the shores of Lake Constance and is the capital city of the state of Vorarlberg, Austria’s westernmost province.
