Litepanels Releases First 1 x 1 Spot and Flood LED Light Fixture

Litepanels, a Vitec Group company, has recently released its new 1 x 1 LED light fixture the 1 x 1 Bi-Focus, which is also the first LED light fixture capable of variable spot and flood focusing.

Comparing with the inefficient Fresnel lights, the ultra-thin and portable 1 x 1 Bi-Focus offers a cool-to-the-touch, low energy draw solution that provides the flexibility of the width of light beam.

The 1 x 1 Bi-Focus features two independent sets of daylight color balanced LED bulbs, with one set comprised of flood bulbs and the other of spot bulbs, and variable flood or spot output can be achieved by cross-fading between the two sets of LEDs. The 1 x 1 Bi-Focus utilizes 1152 LED bulbs (twice the number of a standard 1 x 1), thus projects the same total light output whether the user selects spot, flood or any combination of the two.

As other Litepanels 1 x 1 units, the Bi-Focus offers infinite dimming from 100 per cent to zero with minimal color temperature change. And Brightness can be controlled either by a built-in dimmer dial on the back or by the DMX controller. The fit-anywhere Bi-Focus runs on battery or AC power, including an optional 1.75 hour onboard battery pack.
