Philips Dressed up Guangzhou ‘Slender Waist’ TV Tower

As the 16th Asian Games is hosting in Guangzhou, the world’s highest stand-alone TV tower, the Canton Tower becomes an important focal point.

Philips was contracted with the Guangzhou city government to provide the lighting for the 600 meter-high tower - known locally as ‘the Slender Waist’ TV tower.

Lin Liangqi, General Manager of Philips Lighting Greater China said that “Philips is proud to be providing a pleasant and unforgettable lighting experience to residents of Guangzhou as well as visitors to the city. We are greatly honored to be providing our innovative lighting solutions to the Canton Tower. This new urban landmark fully represents our ability to simply enhance urban life with light.”
