Amerlux Launches New LED Downlight with Patented Low Beam Angle Technology

Engineered with a patent-pending optic that delivers the lowest possible beam angle without sacrificing fixture efficiency, Amerlux® unveils Cylindrix III Mini LED in a smaller size and cleaner look than the original version. At just 21 watts, the accent delivers superior efficacy and lumen output, innovative TIR optics and extraordinary aesthetics for retail, hospitality and commercial environments.

"Innovative optic technology enables the C3 Mini to deploy the lowest beam angle in a small-sized, highly efficient LED accent," explains Amerlux CEO/President Chuck Campagna. "Touting the lowest watt, highest efficacy and CBCP in this category, this luminaire provides the size and technology needed for challenging applications while delivering the best light possible in every metric."

The patent-pending optical system delivers maximum center beam candlepower (CBCP) on a focal point with robust illumination projected right on target, precisely where the beam is desired. The LED luminaire features a deeply recessed single light source for enhanced visual comfort and control and an integrated passively cooled heat sink, with high-performance interchangeable reflector optics (15-, 25- and 40-degree beam options).

The C3 Mini delivers 1850 lumens with 89.6 lumens per watt and 13,578 CBCP, more lumens than fixtures with higher wattages. The diminutive cylindrical profile also offers a clean architectural styling that complements today's interiors.

In addition to mounting on tracks and ceiling surfaces, the C3 Mini LED operates effectively on a multiple platform in recessed one-, two- and three-light configurations, and can sustain efficiency while being maintained easily without an electrical professional.

Triac and ELV dimming are standard on universal systems ranging from 120-277v.

C3 Mini LED accepts a broad range of lighting control accessories, including snoots, linear spread and beam softening lenses, cross blades and louvers.

Black Textured, White Textured and Silver Textured finishes are standard. Custom finishes are available.
