Seoul Semiconductor at LFI 2019: Full Spectrum of LED for Human Centric Lighting and UV LED for Horticulture Lighting

Seoul Semiconductor and its division Sensor Electronics Technology, Inc (SETi) and Seoul Viosys are presenting its SunLike Series natural spectrum LEDs and UV LED products for horticulture lighting applications.

The SunLike Series natural spectrum LEDs, which produce light that closely matches the spectrum of sunlight, will be featured at LIGHTFAIR with a special room to presenting the SunLike Series LED experience.

The full spectrum LEDs of Seoul Semiconductor was recognized by a study that could promote human well-being. The company also held an interactive workshop to better understand new metrics in human centric lighting and SunLike performance.

SETi and Seoul Viosys are also exhibiting the product line encompassing the entire UV spectrum from 225nm to 405nm, which was developed for a range of applications, including horticultural lighting to enhance plant growth cycles and control diseases.

“LIGHTFAIR is an ideal venue for us to showcase our latest UV LED innovations, and to introduce the larger lighting community to the technology advances that UV LEDs are making in horticultural as well as industrial applications,” explained Dr. Peter Barber, director of business development for SETi and Seoul Viosys in the Americas.
