Larson Electronics LLC, a major industrial lighting company, announced the release of a new strand of explosion proof string lights to be added to its catalog this week. This strand of explosion proof string lights produces a total of 13,200 lumens of high-intensity LED light for illumination within hazardous areas and potentially explosive work environments.

Zylight, a Los Angeles-based manufacturer and distributor of innovative LED lighting solutions, announced it is the distributor of Rayzr 7 – the new series of seven-inch LED Fresnels. Leviton announced the development of the new Wireless Room Controller System and App, the first and only system on the market compatible with Philips InstantFit LED lamps with EasySmart technology. Easy to install controls within this system include keypad room controllers, wireless occupancy sensors and a wireless photocell, enabling LED dimming and control retrofits with no fixture wiring changes.

Intertek, a major Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, announces the launch of its certification program for lighting products, including LED luminaires, used in horticultural or agricultural applications. The Horticultural Lighting Certification Program, which is the first of its kind in the industry, will leverage the Company’s lighting expertise to help manufacturers develop innovative, high-performance products for an emerging industry.

Philips Lighting has become the first lighting solutions provider to announce the launch of a ‘chatbot’ on their local Facebook page, allowing users to purchase Philips Lighting’s suite of consumer products conversationally through Facebook’s messenger platform.
