EPIGAP OSA was proud to participate once again in the German Pavilion at Photonics West 2026 in San Francisco. Together with more than 60 other German companies, we showcased our latest products and solutions to an international audience and strengthened our presence in the US market.

Photonics West remains the key global meeting point for the photonics community, bringing together industry, research, and innovation at an exceptional scale. We were delighted to reconnect with long-standing partners and to establish many exciting new contacts throughout the event.

A particular highlight this year was the presentation of our highest-output-power SMD SWIR LEDs, featuring an extended wavelength range from 700 nm to 1650 nm. These new devices attracted strong interest across applications such as sensing, imaging, spectroscopy, and biomedical technologies. Visitors could explore the products both at our BIOS booth and within the German Pavilion.

Beyond the exhibition floor, the numerous accompanying events provided valuable insights into emerging trends and offered excellent opportunities for networking within the international photonics community.

We look back on an inspiring and highly successful week—and we are already looking forward to Photonics West 2027.
