SPARC International Lighting Event 2013 was Successfully Held in Sydney

During June 4 and 6, the SPARC International Lighting Event 2013 was held in Sydney international passenger traffic hub at Circular Quay.

The biennial Australian International Lighting Fair is a professional lighting exhibition jointly sponsored by the Lighting Association of Australia (LCA) and the Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia and New Zealand (IES), this exhibition is the second. China Lighting Association invited 12 Chinese lighting companies to participate in the exhibition in accordance with the requirement of the organizers. China CCTV English Channel also interviewed Chen Yansheng who is the vice chairman of China Lighting Association during the show.



Up to 73 lighting manufacturers participated in this exhibition, including PHILIPS, OSRAM, GE, CREE, ZUMTOBEL, TRIDONIC, THRON, SYLVANIA and other famous manufacturers, 15 enterprises of which are from China.

After the exhibition, exhibitors also visited Bunnings Warehouse to observe lighting products market. For light source brand, in addition to PHILIPS and OSRAM, most available products in the market are produced by Nelson, Click and Brilliant; the retail price of ordinary compact fluorescent lamps is 4-6 Australian dollars, while the retail price of LED bulbs is 15-20 Australian dollars.
