GE Current, a Daintree Company Announces 10% Price Increase

EdisonReport can confirm that GE Current, A Daintree company has announced a price increase.  Below is information from an email sent to agents and distributors last week:
 
“This year, every industry continues to be impacted by unprecedented inflationary commodity pressure and component availability challenges.   Throughout this year, we have tried to minimize the price increases to our customers; however, the cost pressure is not abating.
Therefore, we are announcing the following price actions:
 
  • A price increase of 5% on all LED lamps and controls. The price increase will be effective October 1st, 2021
  •  A price increase of up to 10% on all LED fixtures and poles. The price increase will be effective October 1st, 2021.
 
We value your business and thank you for your patience as we navigate these incredibly challenging times. Please contact your Current representative for specific pricing details and additional information.”
