Ambitheater- Ambient Lighting with HDMI Pass-through and HDCP Support

Ambitheater is not just another entertainment ambient lighting system. Do the others have HDMI input with HDCP support? Do they have 4k UHD upscaling built in? Do they include support for the Philips Hue lighting system to completely immerse the viewer in the environment of any game, movie or TV show. Well Ambitheater does. Ambitheater can support any HDMI input whether it is your favorite gaming system, cable receiver or Blue-Ray player.

Ambitheater can support up to 6 groups for the Philips Hue. All that is needed is to setup the Philips Hue lights into groups on the Hue bridge and let Ambitheater know which area of the screen will be captured for the specified group name.

The Ambitheater system includes a 5 meter WS2812-30 LED's/meter strip for attachment behind the television. (Ambitheather/LEDinside)

The Ambitheater system includes a 5 meter WS2812-30 LED's/meter strip for attachment behind the television. This gives an attractive lighting effect on the wall behind the TV to extend the viewing angle beyond the focal point of the display. Ambitheater can support up to 450 LED's but will require an additional power supply to be setup for beyond the 150 included in the package.

In our quest to design Ambitheater we searched high and low for a solution that would make Ambitheater an affordable product. In this quest we found that our easiest path to obtain our goal for HDMI pass-through with HDCP support came with a nice feature that up-scales 720p and 1080p HD quality signals to Ultra High Definition depending on what the television can support.

We will be starting our Kickstarter campaign within a couple of days. We invite you to take a look and hope that you find Ambitheater a desirable product and help us bring this device to market by becoming a backer.
