Amerlux Appoints Christopher McQuillan VP of Global Operations

Continuing to drive exponential growth while focusing on customers' lighting needs, Amerlux CEO/President Chuck Campagna has announced the appointment of Christopher McQuillan to Vice President of Global Operations, in-charge of overseeing factories in New Jersey, Texas and China. Mr. McQuillan, who previously held the position of VP of Sales, will report directly to Mr. Campagna.

"Chris continues to demonstrate solid leadership skills at the manufacturing level," explained Mr. Campagna. "With major expansions and relocations of our two domestic facilities, we trust that Chris will continue to thrive in our high-paced environment and oversee these operations, as well as our overseas factory."

Mr. McQuillan will upgrade overall operational effectiveness and maximize quality assurance, creating process stability and implementing lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement processes throughout the organization. In addition, he will oversee construction of new manufacturing facilities in Pearland, Texas and Oakland, New Jersey, expanding operations to handle aggressive growth objectives.

"Ultimately, our customers will benefit from the quicker lead times and significant productivity and efficiency upgrades achieved in our new facilities in the USA," continued Mr. Campagna. "Under Chris' leadership, we will continue to increase work flow and line expansions while staying ahead of ongoing technology changes and market demands."

Prior to joining Amerlux, Mr. McQuillan was most recently employed by Honeywell as Business Leader of the Americas for the LED Lighting Division and Acuity Brands as Vice President-- General Manager of Mark Architectural Lighting.

He holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BS from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
