LED Companies Target at CES to Tap into LED Market

Vizio Made a Deal with LG on Patent Infringement Dispute

Vizio, the U.S.-based sales arm for Taiwan Amtran Technology has signed a patent cross-licensing agreement with LG to reconcile over a years-long patent infringement dispute. Under the agreement, the two companies will settle all lawsuits they have filed in the U.S. and help to invalidate orders already made by International Trade Commission. Taiwan’s Amtran Technology announced that its partner US-based LCD TV brand Vizio had released five M series edge-type LED-backlit LCD TVs in Taiwan. The five new inventions including five models, which from 32- to 55-inch, and the price is NT$27,900 (US$871.48) for 32-inch, NT$32,900 for 37-inch, NT$42,900 for 42-inch, NT$52,900 for 47-inch and NT$83,900 for 55-inch respectively.
