Elec-Tech Discusses Partnership with Genesis Photonics

Chinese LED chip manufacturer Elec-Tech has been seeking partnership with Taiwan-based manufacturers. Regarding forming partnerships with Chinese LED die manufacturers, Genesis Photonics Inc. (GPI) is open to discussion, as long as it benefits the industry, company, and stockholders,  said GPI Chairman David Chung.


With LED lighting driving up growth for overall demand, Chung anticipates cross strait LED chip manufacturers will increase speed of development in this area in the future. The LED industry overall demands will show clear signs of recovery after Lunar New Year. Increase in volume of demand and reasonable ease in supply volume is estimated to help balance out supply and demand by early 2014.
