Luna

Designer: Masahiko UCHIYAMA, STEP DESIGN

This is a simple floor light that includes a clock, an upper light and an under light. You can also enjoy this as an interior-icon with lighting. As the name “Luna” ("Moon" in Italian) stands for, this light creates relaxing atmosphere at the end of a day. It proposes a new use of lighting to make your life more enjoyable.

LALIQUE STYLE

Designer: Youjirou YAMASHITA

I tried to re-create the transparent and decorative texture of glass art works by a French craftsman, René Lalique, with current materials. You can change the usage and shape to match your interior.

Edo-Kiriko Crystal Lamp 'mizubashow'

Designer: Sumio ICHIBA, ICHIBA DESIGN STUDIO / AKARI CO., LTD.

Ever since 250 years ago in Edo era in Japan, an unique folkcraft of glass engraving technique called "Edo Kiriko" has been steadily developed. With the handsome beauty in shape, well-defined but gentle light is delivered by the new desk lamp named "Mizubashow".

Mizubashow, a water plant with a large white curly leaf (bract), is the motif of the lamp shade. That can create pretty silhouette by combination of the round glass surface with crystal cut processing and also honest and gentle lighting.

JELLYFISH

Designers: Yukako ENOME / Hisashi WAKAMATSU / Takanobu SANO / Honami YAMAGUCHI, ENOME DESIGN ROOM / NIHONGAIROTOU

It is an organic molding design. Those that exist in the natural world. It calms the mind and then it becomes an illumination. I chose the Japanese paper as materials because I wanted to express the Japanese traditional technology in a new way. Presence as a light, and presence as an art object. I expressed in Japanese paper as Gaudi expressed in architecture. Also on the stage outside Japan, it would be a major power of expression.

ieji-on my way home-

Designer: Rumi FUKUMOTO, KADOYA STUDIO

Everyone has a different story and idea of "ieji". Yet they have a natural desire to go back to a place where they can get warm lights and feel comfortable, they are not alike. It's a desk lamp in the shape of a 4-legged creature going home, named "ieji.""house" like an accessary is the switch. When you put it on his head, the street lamp on his tail lights up. To pursue a simple form, the electric cord is removed and the switch becomes a part of the work.

Portable task light

Designer: Seiji ISHIDA, LIGHTSCENE INC.

Using USB charger as the power source, you can secure the light wherever you go. Compact and stylish design.

BUTTERFLY

Designer: Shintaro TADA, Colorss LLC

A custom lighting object that combines the lighting function and flower arrangement. Reflection of shadow and random shadow of the features itself breathe life into space. It provides healing time to your place.

yui

Designers: Maiko NAGAMINE / Yoko HAGIWARA, Oyama National College of Technology / SUN architects Inc.

We propose a life with light. It gently connects the Japanese traditional design and the current technology, OLED. Gentle light only created by OLED reflects the Japanese traditional motif, hemp leaf.

SEE CALM SEA

Designer: Mitsue TODA

The night calm sea is represented by the blue or white lights of LED covered gently with the traditional Japanese paper: WAGAMI. The image of this lighting equipment is the gentle surface of the night sea lighted up by the moonlight.

HOOP

Designer: Kenji FUKUSHIMA, Y.S.M / KENJI FUKUSHIMA DESIGN

Two simple LED lights, bent and overlapping each other. Characterized by the organic lines flowing from the shade to the stands; a slenderness possible only by using LED lights was pursued. Its indirect lighting will bring a soft atmosphere to your living room or to your bedroom.

Jellyfish Illuminant

Designer: KRISTIN BIRNA BJARNADOTTIR, Kristin Birna Bjarnadottir

The lamp Jellyfish Illuminant is made of reflective material and is based on the idea that, what goes around comes around. I believe that its true; you reap as you sow. You choose the coloured glass you prefer and place it on top of the cylinder (the light source on the floor) and the lampshade reflects your choice. Illuminant makes a magical atmosphere when turned on, like in a fairy tale. The ceiling is decorated by the lamp with great refraction.
